North Central London acute stroke services
The National Accelerating Stroke Improvement programme, which was set in early 2010, will continue to be implemented during 2011/12 as will the implementation of the London Stroke model, which sees the ongoing establishment of eight hyper acute stroke units (HASU) and twenty four stroke units (SU) across the city.
Within north central London there is one HASU at; University College Hospital
and four stroke units at;

North Middlesex Hospital
Royal Free Hospital
National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery
